Workplace AI Policy
PromptsForMyJob.com is used by professionals across many industries. This policy describes how we recommend AI tools and prompts be used in professional environments.
Last updated: August 9, 2026
1. Human review is required
Every AI-generated output should be reviewed, validated, and edited by a qualified human before being sent to clients, patients, students, customers, regulators, or the public.
2. Confidentiality
Do not submit confidential employer information, client information, trade secrets, source code, regulated data, or personally identifiable information into third-party AI systems unless you are explicitly authorized to do so by your employer and the applicable contracts and laws.
3. Verification
AI systems can produce information that is incorrect, outdated, or fabricated. Verify any fact, citation, calculation, statute, dosage, or financial figure independently before relying on it.
4. Organizational policies
Follow your employer's AI usage policy, your professional body's guidance, and the requirements of your jurisdiction. Where this site's recommendations conflict with your workplace policy, follow your workplace policy.
5. Responsible decision making
Use AI to widen the range of options you consider, not to outsource professional judgment. Decisions about people — hiring, firing, discipline, grading, diagnosis, treatment, lending, sentencing — should not be delegated to AI.
6. Disclosure
Disclose AI assistance where your workplace, profession, regulator, or the platform you publish on requires it.
